2010 Herndon Olympics Held at
Kingston Chase
For the second year in a row
Kingston Chase welcomed young swimmers from around the area to
the Herndon Olympics, now in its 31st year. Kingston Chase
co-hosted the event again this year with the Herndon Community
Center (Town of Herndon). Because of our nice pool and
surrounding open areas, the huge group of 460 swimmers, their
parents and siblings, coaches and friends, Kingston Chase is now
the sought after place to hold this premier swimming event for
our community swim teams. Everyone had a great time and
compliments about our facilities and the organization of the
event were abundant.
Herndon Mayor Steven DeBenedittis served as
the guest speaker, and
Olympians Lacey Nymeyer and Josh Davis provided inspiration and
prestige to the event. Additionally, Lacy and Josh held a swim
clinic the day before and shared their expertise and techniques
for competing well. Congratulations to the top finishers from
Kingston Chase at the 2010 Herndon Olympics! click
