If you are selling your Kingston Chase home, you or a real estate agent must purchase the KCHOA "Seller's Packet" for closing. Each packet is $125. Additionally, an ARC evaluation to ensure your property is in compliance must be completed BEFORE release of the packet.

Kids4Kids Labor Day Triathlon - September 1

 

Kingston Chase is excited to announce its annual Labor Day Kids4Kids Triathlon, an event to help raise money for pediatric cancer research while having a blast swimming, biking, and running through the neighborhood with friends and family. As in past years, all proceeds are given to Alex's Lemonade Stand. Please see page 1 of the August newsletter for more information. Register here

 

Kingston Chase Fall Yard Sale - September 20

 

Kingston Chase will hold its annual fall yard sale on Saturday, September 20. You don't want to miss this opportunity to do some spring cleaning in the fall and get things cleared out before the holidays set in and winter takes hold.

 

Game Club Meets Fourth Sunday of Every Month

 

The Game Club meets the fourth Sunday of every month from 3:00-6:00 p.m. at the Kingston Chase clubhouse. The next meeting is September 28. All ages are welcome. Some favorite games include Settlers of Catan, Carcassonne, Ticket to Ride, Dominion, Puerto Rico, Ricochet Robots, Union Pacific, Apples to Apples, Flux, Whoonu, Pandemic, and Elfenland. If you have another favorite game, be sure to bring it. E-mail questions to either Betsy Kiker at ekiker@verizon.net or Barb Craley at house@craley.net.

 

Herndon Olympics at Kingston Chase

 

Swimmers from around the area converged once again on Kingston Chase for the annual Herndon Olympics, held on July 8. Congratulations to all the swimmers who participated in this fun and competitive event. Thank you to all the parents, coaches, and volunteers who helped make it a successful and memorable day.

Lost Glasses

 

A pair of glasses were lost on Thursday evening, June 12. They fell out on Nathan Lane (Clearview side), or Builders Road between Nathan and Clearview, or Hiddenbrook between Builders and Bayou Drive, or Bayou Drive, or by the pond, or near the pool, or Sadlers Wells (Clearview side). If found, please call Catherine Durand at 703-395-4837. Girl Scouts Help Spruce Up the Butterfly Garden

 

Kingston Chase Girl Scouts assist Conservation Corps chairperson Jane Hampson in the removal of winter debris and weeds from the Butterfly Garden. The scouts also helped plant summer annuals and distribute new mulch throughout the garden. Everyone had a wonderful time and learned new skills regarding garden maintenance and flower planting. 

 

Thank you to Jane for always doing such an amazing job with the kids,

and for having a heart for gardening and children that blooms year round.

Attn: There are reports that children are being left in the baby pool enclosure unsupervised. Parents or assigned guardians over the age of 14 must watch children in the baby pool at all times. Lifeguards are not assigned to the baby pool and are not responsible for unsupervised children. Please watch your young children at all times and never leave them unattended.

 

 

 

Clubhouse Reservations, Guidelines, and Calendar

(calendar is current as of August 31)

 

To reserve the Kingston Chase Clubhouse for your small party or meeting, please contact Lydia Olechna at 703-282-6524 or via e-mail at kchoa.mgmt@gmail.com. All reservations must be confirmed prior to the activity commencing, even for internal HOA business. Refer to the 2014 calendar for currently reserved times, but keep in mind the calendar is subject to change at any time. The 2015 calendar is also online. Please also review the Clubhouse Use Guidelines for additional information. Contact Lydia with any questions or problems. Thank you!
