Social Events
Kingston Chase holds and sponsors and number of social events for residents and their friends. Most occur around predictable holidays, such as the Easter Egg Hunt, 4th of July Parade, and the Halloween Parade and Party. Others, such as the spring and fall yard sales, are scheduled according to a date of convenience and are not always predetermined. Regardless, the Social Events are a neighborhood highlight and something most residents look forward to and make it a point to attend.
Please look for details in the monthly Kingston Chase newsletter and on the Home page of this website for upcoming activities.
All times/dates are tentative. Please visit the website for up-to-date details regarding Kingston Chase events.
In addition to the scheduled events listed above, Kingston Chase has a host of clubs and committees that provide social interaction as well as assistance for neighborhood tasks, community service, and just plain fun. The Women's Club comprises a group of neighborhood ladies of all ages that meet monthly. The Book Club enjoys reading books of substance, even if it's flighty fiction, and then discussing lessons learned and points that may have been otherwise overlooked. They also meet monthly. The Children's Corner (otherwise known as "Playgroup") meets two or three times a week, and often includes a Mom's Night Out of dinner/shopping or Dad's Night Out of poker/bowling. The newly formed Conservation Corps is a type of "gardening club" or environmental group of "greenies" that seeks to improve the neighborhood and community on all levels.
